◆ Modified Asphalt
RPMA stands for Rubber Polymer Modified Asphalt. It is a Pre-Mix type modified asphalt product which is
produced through the long-term physicochemical process in which polymer SBS(synthetic rubber) is mixed
with straight asphalt and special catalyst at high temperature using a high shearing homogenizer mixer.

Key Point
The product extends the life of pavement and provides comfortable and safe road, because physical and chemical properties of asphalt(viscosity, elasticity, adhesion, stability, flexibility, etc.) are greatly improved by adding a high-temperature modifier (SBS) to efficiently prevent weaknesses of straight asphalt (AP-5) pavement such as plastic deformation(rutting) in high-temperature, cracks in low-temperature and fatigue cracks on the road.

◆ Modified Asphalt - Fluidity (RPMA 70-22/ 76-22)
The product extends the life of pavement and provides comfortable and safe road, because physical and
chemical properties of asphalt ( viscosity, elasticity, adhesion, stability, flexibility, etc. ) are greatly improved
by adding natural rubber powder ( crumb rubber ) and highly polymerized chemical substance( polymer ) to
efficiently prevent weaknesses of straight asphalt (AP-3/5) pavement such as summer plastic deformation,
winter low-temperature cracking, and shock fatigue cracking.

◆ Low Noise Fluidity (RPMA 82-22)
Asphalt for low noise pavement is the product which improves the adhesion to aggregates and enhances weather and water resistance by adding polymer with high viscosity, because asphalt mixture is designed to reduce noises through pavement of the surface layer with porosity of 8~15 % for the purpose to reduce noise occurring when the vehicles are running.
